DDC Members

Membership of Denendeh Development Corporation is 100% Dene of the Northwest Territories. Members of DDC come from all NWT Dene First Nations. Each of the 27 NWT Dene communities is entitled to vote at the corporation’s Annual General Meeting.

The Chiefs of the five Dene regions appoint the Directors of DDC.

	Gwich'in ribal Council The Gwich'in Tribal Council represents members who live primarily in the communities of Fort McPherson, Tsiigehtchic, Aklavik and Inuvik.
	Sahtu First Nations The Sahtu Dene Council represents members who live primarily in the communities of Tulita, Deline, Fort Good Hope and Colville Lake.
	Dehcho First Nations The Dehcho First Nations represent members who live primarily in the communities of Fort Simpson, Wrigley, Jean Marie River, Fort Providence, Hay River, West Point, Kakisa, Trout Lake, Fort Liard and Nahanni Butte.
	Tlicho Government The Tlicho Government represents members who live primarily in the communities of Behchoko, Whati, Wekweeti and Gameti.
	Akaitcho First Nations The Akaitcho Territory Government represents members who live primarily in the communities of Dettah and Ndilo (Yellowknives Dene), Lutselk'e, Fort Smith and Fort Resolution.
	Dene Nation All of the Dene First Nations are members of the Dene Nation.
